Purchase: I purchased this saddle barely used off eBay for a great price of $1500.00. The previous owners horse had passed away shortly after she purchased the saddle.
Likes: Its a Passier. Possibly one of the best made brands available. The freedom panels allow the saddle to fit a wider variety of horses and really frees up their shoulders.
The seat is super comfortable with a narrow to medium twist. I can ride all day in comfort for both my horses and me. This saddle does not force you into a position, rather it allows you to sit correctly and use your aids freely.
Overall a great saddle for the $$.
Dislikes: Nothing.
Quality: Passiers are known for their high quality leather and workmanship and this saddle will not let you down in either category.
This saddle while ridding in it many times already, show no signs of wear or fading it still looks brand new. Yet it has broken in beautifully.
Summary: I would highly recommend this saddle as your first Passier. While there are trendier saddles out there, they usually do not stand up to the hype. A Passier will never let you down.
My older horse was always a bit stiff through his shoulders with a regular tree. This saddle has improved his performance greatly and I owe that to the Freedom Panels.
