Purchase: I purchased the Ultraflex Full Seperating Zipper Slicker Hood also known as a "Slicker" or "Sleazy" from Schneiders Saddlery ((http://www.sstack.com/)) I bought it in Navy Blue, and in Horse Large. Large fits sizes 72-80.
Likes: I love how there's many colors you can choose from. The hoods are truly high quality, and they've fit and looked great on any horse I've put them on. The large eye holes are wonderful -- they don't rub my Paint's eyes like similar ones do. Even my Paint, Neiko, was a terror on his blankets and sleazy's, but couldn't manage to rip this one! These hood's are amazing quality. It's got a zipper from chin to chest, making it really easy to put on and take off.
Dislikes: There's really nothing I don't like about this unit, other then the fact that it was on backorder when I ordered it!
Quality: This sleazy is made of heavier weight, more durable lycra fabric. The comfort cuff polar fleece lined noseband eliminates rubbing and discomfort. Fully separating, extra heavy-duty metal zipper that opens completely from chest to chin to slip over head and neck easily. Reinforced seams. No center seam to rub face. Extra large no-rub, no-slip eye holes. Elastic girth with velcro.
Summary: I'm defiantly going to continue purchasing these sleazys as long as I've got horses!
