Purchase: I bought these tendon boots from horze.com for about 55€ (£37, 75$). In normal tack stores they may cost up to 85€ (60£, 115$).
Likes: These boots are from Akton, a well known and respected brand. I really feel they give some support to my horse's front legs. It lets moisture out very well.
Dislikes: The sizing is a bit strange (one would figure the small size would fit a cob size horse, a medium size would fit a horse size and a large size would fit a warmblood, if that makes any sense).
I own a 17.1hh Lusitano horse and the medium size looks huge on him, letting dirt in!
Quality: I think these boots are very well made, and give a lot of support to the horse. I've had them for about a year and even though they are white, they almost seem new.
Summary: I bought these because Akton is considered a good brand amongst dressage lovers. Also, they are usually very expensive and I needed some white quality tendon boots for my horse, and these where very cheap at the time.
I like these a lot, I'm just sorry I didn't order a smaller size for my horse.
