For Sale on eBay

Manufacturer: Harry Dabbs / Jaguar Saddles
Model: Original A/O
Category: Jumping Saddles

Purchase: I was looking forever for a saddle that was both comfortable and wide for the horses i ride. I was very picky and needed a super comfortable saddle with nice padded or air knee rolls. I found this on ebay, and was a bit iffy on purchasing it because i couldn't test it and bring it back and it was coming through the mail. Well, there was no reserve and the bidders must have not known what this saddle retails at (3000) so i got it super cheap, for only 600$. It was brand new, no scratches, excellent condition.

Likes: Its the most comfortable saddle. The wide tree fits my huge horse and a tiny pony who is a bit fat but generally a regular tree perfectly. The air flow knee rolls are superior. definitely worth the price. I feel much more secure in this saddle and the leather is soft like butter, not that kind of leather that is smooth and you kind of glide on if you know what i mean, but rather very secure. I also feel that it improves my seat and i never really needed to break it in.

Dislikes: NONE at all. Only dislike is the marks they get after using them. I hate when that happens. I read in another review that you have to work more to get out of the saddle for a jumping position, but i haven't experienced that at all, i feel like it actually improves my position whether it be jumping or the flat.

Quality: Well, i got mine from ebay, but the retailer has a store/website called horseloverz.com. they have top quality saddles, bridles, everything at very cheap prices. I would recommend going to their ebay store first and see if you can get a great steal like i did. Otherwise, their prices are decent. cheaper than what you can find in dover, stateline, etc. I got it within five days and it was in excellent condition, came with a gorgeous saddle cover. The only thing is that when i ordered it, the only size tree they had left was regular, but when it came in it had a wide tree. Which i think worked out better for the horses i ride.

Summary: Its an overall great saddle. If you can afford it, i recommend it. If you find it at a great price like i did, i REALLY recommend buying it. if you have another saddle you can use like a lesson saddle or whatever, i would recommend using the Harry Dabbs saddle lightly for a few days to break it in and then using the other saddle the rest of the time and the Harry Dabbs as show. Only because its such a great saddle and very expensive that it shouldn't be ruined.
