Purchase: Purchased from local tack shop (at same time as new saddle)for $130.
Likes: I like the flat riveted buckle that reduces bulk under my thigh. These leathers are lined so they don't stretch.
Dislikes: They only come in one color, which of course doesn't match my saddle. I am hoping they will darken some with wear. Although they are lined, I am hesitant to oil stirrup leathers due to the possibility of stretching.
Quality: Very well made with nice leather, stitching, etc. Not too thick and edges are nicely finished. Medium brown color. Buckle rivet is very sturdy and lays flat.
Summary: Very nice leathers and excellent quality. I used lined leathers years ago and hated them due to the excess bulk. These are much less bulky and have nice tapered edges that don't pinch. Overall, a great product. Perhaps these are available in more colors that my supplier doesn't stock.
