Purchase: I purchased the saddle directly through Bob Marshall. The total price with the additional extras of tooling, endurance stirrups, rear tooled cinch and no horn added up to $1,425. You can get a plain trail model for i believe 1,195 with none of the goodies.
Likes: Let me start by saying what do i not like about the saddle! The quality is top notch. The leather used is very thick and supple. The tooling is perfect and looks like it should be on a 5,000 show saddle. Ive only had it for a couple weeks but everywhere i go people have asked me who made the saddle and are shocked when they pick it up and see it weighs less than their english saddle! It weights 15 lbs. Being a shorter rider with a tall horse this has made a world of difference! My horse that is extremely picky stided out in this saddle like never before. I have never felt him so free and comfortable!
Dislikes: The only thing i can say that i didn't like is the wait from the time you order until delivery. It was 8 weeks for a custom order.
Quality: Everything is above and beyond your expectations. Leather, tooling, suede, color, stirrups, dee rings are all perfect.
Summary: I recommend this saddle to anyone and everyone. You will love the quality, lightweight, and ability to get EXACTLY the saddle of your dreams. Your horse will thank you and so will your behind.
