Purchase: I purchased these online from Adams Horse Supply for $200. Shipping was free.
Likes: These irons seemed a bit pricey at first, but after my first long ride I was sold, They really relieve the pressure on my knees and ankles. The wider tread is nice, too.
Dislikes: So far, nothing. I hope that at some point Herm Sprenger starts selling replacement pads for these as I intend to keep using them until the tread wears out!
Quality: Very well made. Light weight for "irons", which is nice. Rubber parts are not cracking or showing any wear yet. The blue strip is a bit distracting for traditional equitation or hunters- I'm sure George Morris would not approve! But the improved comfort is worth it.
Summary: Worth every penny! Do not hesitate to buy these if you ride often, for long hours at a time, or have knee and ankle pain.
