Purchase: I have 4 of these. My first purchased as a show bridle in 1996, two purchased new 2 years ago and one purchased used on eBay that is about the same age as my original. Around $180-220 if you can find on sale.
Likes: There's nothing about these I don't like. This is by far the best made bridle for the money or even for twice the money. The leather is soft and supple and holds up well even if not well taken care of. My original one was stored, dirty, in a non-climate controlled area for over 10 years. When I got it out it was green with mold and stiff as cardboard. After carefully wiping the mold off, I put it in a ziploc bag with neatsfoot oil and left it in the garage for a couple of days. When I got it out it was as soft and supple as it had been the day I stored it! Both new bridles have broken in very well and the used one I got on eBay has been well taken care of and very soft.
Dislikes: Nothing.
Quality: High. Great quality leather. Stitching is super and stands up well to the test of time.
Summary: I use these as schooling bridles and will gladly pay the price tag associated with them since I know they will hold up and last even if they are not taken care of as well as they should be.
