Purchase: I paid $1099 for this saddle from dover. I have a serious problem with moving my legs forward when jumping, which throws my upper body back. I tried a saddle with knee rolls, and it helped a bit. My frustrated trainer recommended a saddle with sculpted knee rolls to keep my leg in place.
Likes: The leather is super soft, and broke in very easily! My jumping problem has improved a ton since i bought this saddle! The knee blocks stop me from throwing my knees out to much! My trainer is thrilled and has even told me I'm a few months away from an equitation over fences class! The wider panels allow this saddle to fit fine on my leased gelding, who has an in-between back. The deep seat also secures me on the flat.
Dislikes: The leather seems to not absorb the dye well, so it rubs off easily. It is getting better though.
Quality: This saddle is made from nice french leather. I think it is traditionally a jumper saddle, but it works fine for hunters too! Absolutely worth the price.
Summary: This saddle is great for riders who need a little help with their knees!
