Jumping Saddles

For Sale on eBay

Manufacturer: M. Toulouse
Model: Premia
Category: Jumping Saddles

Purchase: I purchased this saddle for only $750 on Ebay. It was a demo saddle at a privately owned tack shop. I needed a quality saddle for a reasonable price.

Likes: This saddle is amazing. It didn't even need extensive breaking in. The second I sat in the saddle I was more comfortable than I have been in any other saddle. The leather softens extensively after being oiled once. The saddle is contoured in a way that keeps your knees firmly in place while jumping and the knee rolls are velcro and can be moved, or removed. The wide tree fits my relatively small, 14.3 hh, quarter horse perfectly! I also love the chocolate color that the saddle comes with, although I couldn't find the matching leathers in childrens length. I have gotten lots of compliments on the saddle, and convinced a few people at my barn to get one after they rode in mine.

Dislikes: While most of the leather on the saddle softens easily, the billets, for some reason, do not. It took a while for me to be able to easily put on my girth, but that is also partly because i bought a new girth at the same time. I also read on other reviews that a small piece of leather sewn to the bottom of the flap bothered some peoples legs. It doesn't bother me, but I always wear either tall boots or half chaps, so I never feel that piece of leather.

Quality: The saddle is beautiful. It is impossible to tell that it was any cheaper a saddle than other more expensive brands.

Summary: If your looking for a cheaper saddle forget about Circuit, Kincade, or Collegiate. Stick with M. Toulouse!
