Purchase: Wintec makes a synthetic leather (for hanging stirrups) for about $USD 35-40.
The webbers have holes every inch along their length and a small T shaped hook fits into the holes in one direction, and with a 90 degree turn the leathers are locked into place.
Likes: The webber has very little bulk, and the bulge under the buckle is completely eliminated since there is NO buckle. Changing lengths is fast and easy, and can quickly be done while on the horse.
Dislikes: The webbers do not have lasting power, and you'll need new webbers every year or two if you ride endurance (I ride daily). They only come in a 1 inch width.
Quality: Synthetic material, wears at the holes and edges.
Summary: The webbers won't last too long, but for $35, these are a great buy for the saddle that has to accommodate several different riders and leg lengths, or for the rider that hates buckle bulges under the leg. I buy them again and again and use them on schooling saddles!
For lasting power, try the Wintec Synthetic Stirrup Straps - mine have never worn out and never stretched!
