Purchase: My saddle doesn't quite fit my horse, so I needed a correctional half-pad with shims to fill in the dip behind his withers. I decided to try the Equine Comforts pad. I ordered it online from VictoryCanter.com. I paid $110.00 for it.
Likes: The pad does exactly what I needed it to do! The shims aren't quite as thick as the shims in the fleeceworks correction pad, but they are the memory foam and work well for my purposes. It seems to stay clean very easily and is easy enough to wash. It just takes awhile to dry, but they all do. This pad has made my horse's back much happier! And saved me from having to buy another saddle!
Dislikes: What's not to like? It's a great price, holding up well, and is doing exactly what I need it to do. It doesn't have the rolled fleece on the back like some of the other pads, but I have not noticed any slipping of the pad because of it.
Quality: So far, it's holding up great!
Summary: Definitely worth considering if you need a correctional half-pad. I think it's doing the job just as well as the mattes or fleeceworks would have and is a better deal.
