Purchase: I bought it at the local Tack Store for somewhat under $700. I have a narrowly built TB on which we couldn't fit a single saddle that was not custom made for at least three times the money.
Likes: It fits the horse perfectly. Didn't even need to change gullets, we just ride it with extra padding anyway. This saddle is very comfortable to the rider as well, and has a "suction cup" feel to it when the horse bucks...
Dislikes: I would have preferred dark brown instead of black.
Quality: I only own it since two weeks and cannot find any fault. I do like the low weight of it.
Summary: We were advised from the barn trainer to stay away from Wintec saddles and steered towards foreign high end saddles. None of these saddles fit our TB horse, custom manufacture would have been 3 months. We tried the Wintec and it fit the horse and riders instantly. (We are not olympic show riders).
I can only suggest to give Wintec a try!
