Purchase: I bought a small tub of this leather conditioner at my local tack store for around $12. I'd recently purchased a new saddle and was looking to try some new products.
Likes: Well, first off it smells wonderful! I've used this on new and old tack and it does the job perfectly every time. It softens up new leather and protects well-used pieces. I had some tack that was a red-ish color, and this helped darken it to a nice havana.
Dislikes: Nothing!
Quality: This is the best leather conditioner I've ever used. It claims to make leather supple and give it a high tear-resistance. It needs to be kept in a temperature-controlled room because it will harden/melt depending on the weather.
Summary: This product has done wonderful things to my leather. Saddles don't scratch as easily and the leather balsam keeps even my old and well-used bridles and saddles in top condition!
