Purchase: My trainer bought this bridle a few years back, I think it was about $200.
Likes: The quality of the leather is great. The black leather is shiny, so when I first started using it I was worried that it was kind of a painted on finish and that it would rub off when I cleaned it. I was wrong, though! The leather is nice and supple, but not overly soft where you feel like somethings going to snap at any second. Although I don't particularly like the look of brass buckles, the stitching on them is great and they are easy to adjust.
Dislikes: This bridle is not padded. I prefer to use a bridle with some cushion to it, but I guess none of the Bobby's bridles are padded, so if you are getting any Bobby's bridle, don't expect a marshmallow bridle.
Also, this bridle runs very large. It is an oversize, but I ride a 17 hand warmblood and everything is buckled at the top. This bridle was used a couple of times on a horse with a ridiculously large head, I mean, a really massive head and it fit on the middle hole on just about everything. So only get an oversize if you have a horse with a HUGE head.
Quality: Like I said, the leather is amazing and so is all the stitching everywhere. The reins have also withstood their share of chewing and still look good.
Summary: A good quality bridle, but not as padded as I would have liked. And it runs large.
