Purchase: I purchased this saddle from www.genuinetrekkersaddles.com. It was a model closeout and I paid around $700. The new Pro Endurance model retails for $1395.
Likes: I love its treeless design. The two panels under the saddle are completely movable which allows for individual fit for each horse. The underside of the saddle is also leather. It has no fixed tree, but the combination of special wool reinforcements on the inside and the individually adjustable panels on the underside give the saddle enough stability for a wonderfully comfortable, secure seat and at the same time insure that neither the saddle, nor the rider, touch the horses spine in any way. Most treeless saddle require special pads. You can use any type of dressage pad with this saddle. Another great feature is you can buy an adjustable pommel that adjust from narrow to wide.
I also like the fact that the seat size is adjustable from 15" to 18".
Dislikes: There are no leather keepers on this saddle so you are forced to use "webber" type leathers.
Quality: Excellent quality over all and the leather is super soft so there is no break-in time.
Summary: Overall, this is an excellent choice for someone who has a hard time fitting their horse with a treed saddle. Aside from the fact it would be a perfect schooling saddle, it would also make a great trail saddle as it has breastcollar rings as well as d rings in the back of the saddle.
It would also make a great lesson saddle as it fits a variety of horses as well as riders.
