Purchase: I bought this saddle used in 2008 (It was a 2003 model) from corimcgraw.com for $2,400. I needed another saddle, as I had outgrown my old saddle.
Likes: This saddle is very cushy and comfortable despite being previously used and 5 years old. It looks nearly brand new. I take basic care of it (Cleaning it with Lederbalsam after every ride and using a saddle cover.) and it has stood up very well. It isn't so deep that I can't get out of it, but it isn't so flat that I can't sit deep and down in it.
Dislikes: Nothing, my expectations have been fulfilled and more.
Quality: This saddle is a full calfskin and very supple and soft, despite being 5 years old. It looks nearly new and it stands up to riding, rain, and dirt very well. I am very happy with the construction and quality of the saddle.
Summary: I was extremely satisfied and happy with this saddle. It fits my horse and me very well even though it was used before and wasn't custom made for my horse or me. I was delighted by the easy upkeep of the saddle and how it stood up to the test of dirt, rain, riding, and being left out at a horse show.
