Purchase: Purchased from Eskadron directly (google them for the website) - they ship from the UK and it is much less expensive than purchasing from Dover. There are no charges for taxes or export fees and even with the conversion rate on the dollar - I saved about $30 for the front pair ($135 for the front boots at Dover plus mega shipping charges and 106 at Dover for the hind)I paid about $20 less.
Likes: This is how Eskadron describes the boots:

That's pretty close. The boots are the old Eskadrons in "new clothing." The new hook and loop lock with the closing cover is nice. The boots don't shift and they look great - my barn wants them and when I was at the Oaks last week, quite a few folks asked about them. They seem to do the job well as the first day my 17.2 jumper had them on, I noticed brush marks on the insides of booth front boots. So they may have saved us a couple of times over the bigger fences.
Dislikes: So far - I like everything about them.
Quality: As with all Eskadron products the quality is great and they are built to last. These new boots replaced a two year old pair (that saw many horse show warm up rings and schoolings) of Eskadron Pros - that are now in the lesson tack room. So they last.
Summary: I love the look and the design and if you're looking for new schooling boots - these are wonderful.
