Purchase: I purchased this bridle new on ebay for $90 for my new horse.
Likes: A beautiful bridle made in England from English leather, very popular among the dressage enthusiasts in our area. I especially like the feature of having the noseband's crown fit over the top of the bridle's crownpiece to alleviate any pressure points on the horse's poll.
Dislikes: My only complaint is the left side of the throatlatch. The strap looks like it pulls away from the crownpiece and twists. I will continue with regular conditioning in hopes it will lie flatter. It might look a touch overpowering for a delicate-boned face since there is so much padding, but it looks very classy on my TB cross.
Quality: The stitching is tight and even, leather is of very high quality, beautiful color. The padding on the noseband and browband are soft and supple with minimal conditioning needed. Buckles are of high quality and leather edges are smooth and even. I don't know about color changes with oiling, I prefer to use a conditioner that maintains the original color.
Summary: I love this bridle and would recommend it in a heartbeat. I feel fortunate to have gotten such a great deal online.
