Purchase: I bought this saddle, with a bridle and all fittings for around $200 from saddleonline.com.
Likes: This was really a comfortable saddle.
Dislikes: Well, you get what you pay for. The "medium" tree was really quite wide, even on my QH/TB. The flaps are also quite straight which made it hard to keep my leg position correct, especially over jumps.
Quality: The leather, even after being used for 2 years, was still stiff and cheap feeling. It had started to erode in a couple of spots. Also, it was always slick - VERY slick - which is not good for jumping. The stitching stayed ok, but the terrible leather quality more than made up for that. The stirrup leathers also had huge chunks wear out of them, so they went to the trash. The girth (a nasty cloth thing) tore the second or third time I tried to use it. The bridle - definitely a dressage bridle, and poor quality as well.
Summary: If you need a saddle to sit in the back of your tack room for an occasional extra rider, or all you want is a beater for taking out on trails, this isn't a bad saddle. However, if you want to actually ride in it with any kind of performance, save your money and buy a better one.
