Purchase: From dover, $750. My parents were purchasing me a pony saddle for pony hunters and the occasional pony jumper round. Every pony riding girl at my barn has a Pony Pessoa, but my mom insisted Pessoa are all name and not good quality, so i was given an HDR pony.
Likes: I was pretty balanced.
Dislikes: My mom was sooo wrong about the pessoas. After owning my saddle a week the color was rubbed off where my leathers are. I never felt that comfy riding in this. The leather is cheap! My trainer tried to warn my mom HDR saddles are not worth the money, and my trainer was right.
Quality: This saddle is Ok, definitely higher quality that the kincade pony i used to use before this saddle, but just not made to last at all!
Summary: After complaining for 6 months, my mom let me ride in my friends Pony Pessoa in a lesson. My pony stopped kicking out in transitions, and floated along at every gait! I felt like i was sitting on a cloud! I immediately begged for one. After managing to sell this saddle on Ebay for 500, i finally got my dream saddle, which is unquestionably the best pony saddle on the market, THE PONY PESSOA.
