Purchase: I purchased this saddle from the original manufacturer. It was a return and I paid $700.00.
Likes: This saddle has the most comfortable seat I've ever ridden. There isn't any padding and it's amazing how well your body weight is distributed. It is lightweight and allows the horses shoulders to move freely. I normally use a 16" but this 15" left me wondering how it could measure so small.
Dislikes: While the rigging is attached to the tree, it is not leather. For duration I would have preferred they had used leather.
Quality: This saddle has endured the test of time and has held up exceptionally well. The padding under the seat hasn't changed the ride at all as it is still as comfortable as new. The padding on the bars has also held up better than expected.
Summary: I would recommend this saddle to anyone looking for a pleasure or endurance saddle. I found myself owning four of them for us and friends.
