Purchase: I purchase this saddle online and paid $994 and it came with a matching bridle.
Likes: I liked the idea of a convertible gullet saddle. I suppose it would be ok, but I didn't like it. It just changes the front of the saddle the tree is still the same. It's not truly a better fit.
Dislikes: This saddle looks nice and the idea behind it sounds great but it's not worth it. The leather is stiff. I also didn't like the new style of stirrup "hooks". If you don't mind your stirrups leathers sliding off if your leg swings back you'll be fine. However, most of us don't always ride perfectly over every fence, and I didn't like knowing that I couldn't count on my stirrups to still be attached when landing.
Quality: The construction is acceptable. The saddle looks nice.
Summary: The stirrup issue really needs to be corrected to make this a jumping saddle. If you want to just flat horses it's fine, unless they rear or buck or you need to move your leg back. I have since gotten a Dover Circuit saddle and it's so much better and a better price as well.
