Purchase: Being a competitive rider, I have gone through many saddles. It was time for a new saddle. I looked forever. I went to a local tack shop and laid my eyes on this gorgeous piece of work. I paid 1800 for it new.
Likes: The leather is butter soft. It broke in very quickly and was so comfortable. The leather is absolutely gorgeous. The colors are fabulous and it is such wonderful quality. I clean mine a lot and can't get over the beauty of this saddle. It gives you the feeling of security, with out feeling like an all-purpose saddle and locking you in. The saddle puts your leg in the correct position and is fabulous for jumping and using on the green horses. I have rode so many different horses in it, from the thoroughbred to the quarter horse to the wide warmbloods. It fits all of them!
Dislikes: The saddle is heavy. Its a little harder to lug around, but that really is the only flaw I can say about this saddle.
Quality: The quality of these saddles are fabulous. They last forever, and the leather is thick and doesn't wear through, but easily breaks in. The stitching hasn't even looked worn and i have had the saddle for nearly 4 years now. I clean it a lot and it still has that fresh look to it.
Summary: Bottom Line: The saddle is amazing and I would suggest it for any one who wants a competitive saddle that has the comfort and security with it.
