Purchase: Bought at a tack store in the Greater Toronto Area, and paid about $120 CND for them.
Likes: I bought them because my previous pair of paddock boots were giving me blisters, and found them very comfortable by comparison. They offer fairly good support for riding (and security in the stirrup), and fit my long / narrow foot very well. I also walk through a lot of mud puddles in them, and my feet have never gotten wet.
Dislikes: After I cleaned them a few times, I noticed that the black leather has started to fade (black dye washes off every time I clean them, and I used the same cleaner I use for all my other leathers). I let Ariat know about the problem, and they offered to ship me a new pair for free.
Quality: The construction is good, the quality of the leather is just so-so.
Summary: For the price, they've been great (better than the much more expensive boots I had before them). Although they have some flaws, Ariat really seems to stand by their products!
