Purchase: Although I live in the USA, I bought these breeches through Amira Equi Ltd. out of the UK. Ordered online, had them shipped across the pond. It was less expensive to buy them through this method rather than purchasing them from an American retailer. Also, they offer them in a million different colors and hard to find sizes, not to mention the greater selection of men's clothing you tend to find with a Brit retailer. I purchased these because, after countless pairs of less expensive breeches ripping right in the crotch and generally not standing up to the level of riding I do I chose to go with Pikeur and a full-seat as opposed to knee patches. I paid GBP114.95, plus another GBP14.40 for shipping. This equals about $253.53.
Likes: Everything. They fit like a glove, the color is great (mine are Anthracite). The full seat feels great in the saddle and stands up to the wear and tear I put it through. They are a very well built breech.
Dislikes: I'm young, so I like my pants to sit low on my waits and these have a more traditional natural waist. This is a small, small dislike and really I could care less.
Quality: Double stitched, reinforced seams, etc. The Germans know how to build things, and they built these breeches well.
Summary: Best pair of breeches I own. I might have to break tradition and buy another pair of these for showing instead of a pair of Tailored Sportsman's.
