Purchase: I bought this saddle for $375 brand new off ebay, It was $42 to ship. I had heard mixed reviews on treeless saddles and I wanted to try one but didn't want to pay the price of a bob marshall
Likes: I like the close contact feel....like you and the horse are truly one....It was cheap enough for me to try and no be out that much money if I didn't like...THANK GOD I love the saddle
Dislikes: It has a smell that is not a leather smell, I had to order stirrup from a different company cause the width was too narrow, I rode on the trails in the rain with it and the "paint" that they used to color the leather with came right off, the silver is cheap and does not shine
Quality: The leather is painted.....the quality of the leather is poor but then again I didn't get it to win a show with.....bought for trail riding and suits me just fine
Summary: The Hilason company was HORRIBLE! The communication was poor, I talked to to different people about them not having the saddle that I won on ebay not being in stock so they sent me an email a week later about a replacement saddle and I did not like it AT ALL and they shipped it anyways without my approval! All in all it too me a month to get the right saddle that I had ordered and it appeared that it had been used! They were not apologetic about it at all......offered no refunds or anything
