Purchase: I have a very round, mutton withered Fjord horse and nothing I tried would keep the saddle from rolling. Even though I use a mounting block, my saddle still slipped. I was really afraid to ride this way. I'm very new to horses and know very little about tack. I started researching on Horse Tack Review and came across the reviews for the Supra Cinch. Everyone had excellent things to say about it. So I took the plunge, hoping the Supra Cinch would do the trick for my buddy and me. Well, you can believe the reviews! This cinch is wonderful! I can now ride safely without slipping or having to over tighten the girth (which didn't help anyway).
I'm very happy with the Supra Cinch and would recommend in an instant!
Likes: My saddle stays secure! No more slipping or rolling! I feel much more secure while riding.
Because the pressure is distributed over a larger area, my horse seems a lot more comfortable too.
Dislikes: There is nothing that I dislike. At first I was a little baffled as to how to attach all the billets. Then I printed the instructions and pictures from Crestwood's website and went step by step. I had it together in no time.
Also at first it may seem cumbersome having to do up the front and back straps, but there again, it's easy to get the hang of it and only takes an extra moment.
Quality: The Supra Cinch seems to be very well constructed and durable. It is very well sewn. It's also easy to clean.
Summary: This is a great product! I bought it from Crestwood's Ebay store. I paid around $61.00...can't remember exactly.
The Supra Cinch is worth every penny and then some!
