Purchase: I read about this product in the Barrel Horse News. The Finish Line company offered a free sample so I called and thought I would at least give it a try.
Likes: I had an older horse that I used for barrel racing and he just didnt have the sharpness and snap aroung the barrels. The previous owner sold this horse because they didnt think he had the speed to be a 1-D barrel horse. After having the horse on Ultra Fire for about a week the once 3-D barrel horse had won the 1-D at a big district NBHA show.

Summary: I have had many barrel horses that just needed a little kick to make them try harder during their run and Finish Line Ultra Fire seemed to give them that boost and more. It will not many them nervous or keyed up like some supplements do. In fact it seems to keep them calm until you ask them and then they give 110%. I love this product and I have recommended to many barrel racers that thought their horse just needed a little boost.
