Purchase: I ordered this saddle directly from the Company "Down Under Saddle Supply and paid $580.50 plus tax. The saddle was on sale at the time I purchased it.
Likes: The leather was gorgeous and very rich looking. The color of the leather was different and this is what attracted me to this particular saddle. The saddle was already rigged for western which appealed also to me. The company took a wither tracing of my horse to insure correct fit. They also allow you to mess up at least once and you can mail the saddle back for a refitting for free minus the shipping costs.
Dislikes: The only two things I do not like about the saddle is I wish it was not so heavy. The other part I dislike is the leather on stirrup leathers tend to rub badly and cause scrape marks on the panel of leather behind it. Makes for a bad look. Would recommend anyone buying this saddle to get fleece wraps for your stirrup leathers to prevent this from occurring.
Quality: Excellent quality. Cleans up very nice. Fits my horse extremely well. I feel very safe in this saddle. Price was affordable. Would purchase another saddle from this company easily.
Summary: Excellent customer service; great product for the money paid out.
