Purchase: I ordered these boots at Valleyvet.com for about $30 per boot and later added gaiters at $20 per boot.
Likes: The boots work fantastic, they stay on great with the gaiters attached. We travel on very muddy, hilly terrain and have gone on numerous 15-20 mile rides with no rubbing or slipping or losing our boots. They are easy to apply once the boots are broken in, I have them on my horse within 10 seconds per hoof. They just slip on with a twisting motion and fit perfectly. My horse overreaches, so they boots used be stepped off before i attached the gaiters. He is no longer ouchy on any surface and has never tripped or even noticed he is wearing them!!
Dislikes: The gaiters are becoming slightly worn, however I have the old model and have heard the newer models are much sturdier. The cable is also starting to fray, but this is to be expected with our heavy use, and it is easily replaced.
Quality: Very sturdily made, seems like they will last forever! I cant even see the wear marks on them and we have been riding in them for almost a year!
Summary: Love them and would not hesitate to buy another pair!! Just make sure you buy the correct size and you will love them!!!
