Purchase: I bought a pair of these from my trainer for 75 american dollars. I am an endurance rider and need a back up if my horse pulls a shoe on trail. I have used this pair for countless miles, including "no-rock" races that turned into "very rocky" races unexpectedly.
Likes: I like how easy the boots are to put on and take off. They cosmetically look nice and don't rub at all.
Dislikes: Unless the boots fits horse horse's hoof EXACTLY, they will fall off. Even with a perfect fit, down steep grades, through mud and water, and in deep sand, the boots will slip. Every time I ride through deep sand or fine gravel, it gets into the boot and will actually make my horse appear lame. Obviously, in a competitive setting, this is not a desirable side effect.
Quality: The easyboots have held up quite nicely and don't appear to have any constructional faults.
Summary: These are good for back up purposes, but are by all means only a temporary fix.
