Purchase: I purchased from Schnieder's Tack for $60 in July 2008.
I was tired of the rubs that the Miracle Collar was making on his brow and jaw/throat line.
Likes: It is very sturdy and well made, quality leather. It is adjustable from both sides and doesn't have to be as tight as other collars to work effectively.
The cribbing horse doesn't even attempt it now, however he would if the collar were off and he had the chance.
Dislikes: I do not have anything negative about the collar, I wish it were not so expensive, but it really is worth the money if you have a cribber that colics or other digestive issues that could save you money.
Quality: It is very thick leather, heavy duty and bigger than I thought it would be. It would probably be too big for a pony or very refined headed horse.
Summary: Nice product, I highly recommend it if you are trying to decide between this one and the Miracle Collar. Hands down, the horse can't crib. He tried all the time with the other collar- which stretched out the leather.
