Purchase: I needed a new helmet for galloping racehorses on the track so I ordered this helmet from Greenhawk, it was on sale so I got it for about $50, give or take a couple dollars plus shipping.
Likes: I LOVE this helmet. It's awesome. I used to gallop in my old nasty plastic dented up International and that would make my head sweat so much my glasses would fog up (we would gallop in the morning when it's cool out). My Tipperary barely made me sweat, the vents are awesome. I like how it's really light weight too. It also covers the back of your head to where your spine meets your skull. I thought that was a very important feature. It fits my head amazingly, very comfortable and the padding is fantastic.
Dislikes: There's nothing that I dislike about this helmet.
Quality: This helmet is constructed very well. The vents are really nice to have to keep you cool. The harness is sewn sturdily with strong nylon webbing. The outer shell is very durable and tough. I would consider this a fairly high quality helmet, sold for a quite decent price.
Summary: This is a fantastic helmet. I use it for schooling on the flat and jumping at home, galloping on the racetrack, and when I ride and train. A great helmet for cross country or just riding around for fun. I would definitely suggest this to anybody looking to purchase a new helmet that will meet their needs.
