Purchase: I got the girth at a tack sale, new with tags, for $30. It was about 3" shorter than the tag said. I have talked to other people who have all said it runs short.
Likes: I love the elastic on both sides and that it comes in very short and very long lengths. I've had it for at least 5 years and it's still in perfect shape, except for the elastic.
Dislikes: I have noticed, and others I've talked to about the girth, that the elastic has stretched a lot. In my case, I bought a 52" that measured 49" and it now measures as a 56". That's fine for me since it fits my horse and it's not easy to fine a girth long enough for her. My biggest gripe is that, due to the stretching of the elastic, a lot of elastic shows from the side. Elastic should be mostly hidden, not mostly exposed.
Quality: Very well constructed and nothing is falling apart on it after 5+ years of use.
Summary: Great comfy girth, but starts off too small and ends up too long.
