Purchase: I bought these from Jeffers Equine for $45.
Likes: I love the way these "working chaps" protect my riding pants. I was constantly snaggingmy riding pants on bales of hay, getting them very dirty on the tractor, wheelbarrel, you name it, my old riding pants confronted it. I like that these are not like riding chaps and not full length. I used to have a hard time bending over and working arouns the barn in riding chaps.
Dislikes: They seem to be fit a bit for a man, but no big deal, that just means more room for layers.
Quality: These are made from a full grain leather, just like riding chaps have buckles in the front and back. But the legs have znaps, not zippers. The are long on me, a bit below my knees.
Summary: These are a great so that you don't need to change from work clothes to riding clothes while working around the barn. They go on in a flash and protect your (somewhat expensive) riding pants. You can move freely in them too. Some may think they may be a waste of money, but I'd rather spend $45 on these than $100 to replace my breeches. After about a year now, I have even talked some other people at the barn into buying them and they are pleased too!
