Category: Jumping Saddles
Purchase: Purchased from Dover for $995. This size (17) and color (Havana) was on sale. I believe this color is discontinued for some reason. It is a beautiful dark chocolate brown- I love the color! Great price for such a nice saddle. The saddle was shipped promptly and arrived in perfect condition.
Likes: Saddle is a very comfortable ride! Plenty of padding and blocking. I am a beginner rider and was looking for a saddle that would help cushion the horse a little from my mistakes. Padding helps position my legs correctly. This saddle has fit both horses I have leased- a Thoroughbred and a Warmblood.
Dislikes: Nothing- it is perfect!
Quality: Beautifully constructed with lovely, high-quality leather. Has shown very little wear so far. No need to oil the leather to break it in so far.
Summary: I was able to get a very nice saddle for a low price just because the color was discontinued. It helps to shop the closeouts and be patient for a great saddle like this one to come up.
