Purchase: I bought this saddle online from Mahtowa Meadows Saddlery. They are a major dealer in used Hennig saddles. They have buyers in, and import them from, Germany. They understood my needs and used a wither tracing to tell me which of the saddles available would fit my horse. I picked one and that one fit me and my horse perfectly.
Likes: It is so comfortable, and my horse practically smiles. As my trainer says, get a Hennig, get a seat. My riding has improved dramatically. Two others at my barn have bought them from Mahtowa and love them.
Dislikes: Nothing, absolutely nothing.
Quality: The saddle was 3 years old when I got it. I've had it for over a year. I paid $4500 for it. The leather is of the highest quality. The tree adjusted to medium with a wide gullet. It has a 3/4 exposed thigh block.
Summary: The best dressage saddle you can buy.
Usefulness Rating: 3 out of 5.
