Purchase: Paid $59 for both front and hind (per pair) from valley vet. They were advertised everywhere and endorsed by many top trainers.
Likes: They look good and come in many colors and sizes. Very pliable, not stiff. Seem to protect well.
Dislikes: Takes ages (especially on hind) to get a good wrap. I bought these because I was tired of the time it took with polo wraps; It's not much quicker.
Have to constantly re-do as they slip down - especially if horse has lots energy.
Dirt easily gets in. The front seem to fare better than hind. Velcro not holding up well (on hind).
Quality: Overall good quality but I thought they would hold up longer. Howeve, because they are "soft" (nice for horse), I suppose they would not hold up as well as the hard shell variety.
Summary: Even with the faults, I like these boots. I might give the new SMB elite a try as they advertise a much improved version...
