Purchase: I bought the Crusade Lite Sport 16W a year ago. I love this saddle. I sent in a wither tracing and photos of my Missouri Foxtrotter as requested from the saddlery. They were very helpful in fitting her. They told me exactly what size would fit her and it did. I paid 525.00 for it. I bought it from them online.
Likes: I love the fact that this saddle has fit my mare from day one. It is a light weight saddle weighing in at around 18lbs. The cordura is very sturdy and easily hosed off after a long ride on the trails. It is very well made and very comfortable. They put wide leather stirrups on from the get go and lots of tie straps.
Dislikes: I really don't have anything bad to say about it. It's a great saddle with a lot of matching accessories you can buy from their website.
Quality: The quality of the saddle is very good, the leather is very soft and supple and a beautiful rich brown that is very shiny. It always looks brand new after a little hosing off and leather cleaner. I have gotten a lot of compliments on it as well. For a moderately priced saddle I couldn't be more pleased.
Summary: If you have a gaited horse and want full freedom of motion from a saddle that doesn't weigh in at 40lbs. this is a fantastic buy. They have a nice variety for your non-gaited horses as well.
