Purchase: I purchased this saddle second-hand and paid 365.00. I needed a new saddle to replace an ageing Trainer's saddle, and needed something a bit larger and nice enough to show in.
Likes: This saddle was only a month old when I bought it. I liked this saddle because it had the identical look and feel of the comparable Pessoa (which I really wanted), but at a fraction of the price. The leather is gorgeous!!!! I love how the seat padding is soft, but still firm enough to really get a good feel. This model comes with thigh and calf blocks, super for an older rider like myself who needs a little extra support over fences. The quality is exactly what you would get from a Pessoa, which isn't surprising considering they are made by the same company. It is nicely balanced and fits both of the horses I ride perfectly.
Dislikes: I can't really find anything I dislike about this saddle.
Quality: The leather is beautiful- soft and supple, and not terribly easy to scratch. It oiled up wonderfully. The panels really conform to your horse's shape and the leather broke in almost immediately.
Summary: If it wasn't for the Ovation buttons, you wouldn't know this saddle wasn't a Pessoa. I can't believe how nice it is for the money! I would highly recommend this brand for anyone looking for excellent quality at a fraction of the price.
