Purchase: I bought this blanket from a tack store for 85 dollars.
Likes: I liked the fact that is was cheap.
Dislikes: The construction was horrible. even when my horse was stalled, it broke. my horse ripped off all the surcingle straps, and the leg straps, and ripped it, all in a month. the next winter, (after costly repairs) My horse was turned out in a pasture 24/7, it wasn't water proof, all the straps came off, and finally, a horse grabbed the back of the blanket and ripped the whole thing. when i came in the morning, her back was bare, and it was hanging off her legs, she had major rubs and i couldn't ride her for 2 days.
Quality: This blanket may be cheap, but a more expensive blanket is much better than this, plus, in the long run, a spendy blanket is cheaper b/c you will not have to repair it.
Summary: unless you bubble wrap your entire horse when he wears this blanket and keep him in a padded stall, i would not buy this blanket.
