Purchase: I purchased this saddle from 123 Tack. They offered this saddle for $449 as the newmarket color was being discontinued. A darker version can still be had at many tack stores and is well worth the price. This saddle is phenomenal! I was so fortunate to acquire it at a close out price.
Likes: I've had very experienced riders ride in it on my horse and they are amazed at the comfort and quality, not to mention being totally blown away by the price I paid. I never thought that I would want a close contact saddle for trail riding but this saddle does it all - from jumping to flat work and it is secure and comfortable on the trails. This company has a winner and I can't say enough good things about it.
Dislikes: Nothing - I love this saddle and also have the M. Toulouse Simone. Both are fabulous.
Quality: Great leather. It didn't mold this summer in our humid New England weather. How does this company do it? The leather is beautiful and everyone always oohs and ahhs over my M. Toulouse saddles.
Summary: I hope that this company will keep producing this incredible line of lower priced, quality saddles. The position that they place you in is perfect. If I'd had this saddle earlier I wouldn't have paid $2,000 for a big name brand.
