Purchase: I paid around 500 dollars for this from 123tack.com. I bought a new pony, and he was more "pony" than "cob", unlike my old horse. I needed a new bridle, girth, martingale, and i wanted a new saddle since i didnt like my circuit pony saddle. I went on 123 tack and they were closing out all toulouse items in newmarket, which looks great on my pony. I bought the leathers, bridle, girth, martingale, and saddle in pony sized stuff (i need a 14 seat) for less than 1000! But im just reviewing the saddle here.
Likes: This saddle is wonderful! Its so balanced, and very high quality! My pony loves it, and moves out better than before. Its soooooo soft and comfy, and my trainer even said its a nice saddle, and she only rides in Antares and Devoucoux's! It matches with the other toulouse items soo well and i look very classy in the show ring! I show medium pony hunters, and this saddle totally supports me no matter what (even if Sparkz over jumps it to 2'9"!)
Dislikes: Nothing. this saddle is modeled after a crosby, but in my mind, is better than one.
Quality: FLAWLESS! This saddle could pass off as french any day.
Summary: This saddle is amazing, and at 500, was a steal!
