Purchase: I purchased this pad liner for $19.93 at Timeless Tack in Sandston Virginia. I purchased this because I have an expensive felt and foam pad I love and I wanted to extend the life of that pad. I also wanted to find an easier way to keep that pad clean since I was using it on multiple horses.
Likes: The half-inch thick square shaped pad with a hole cut along the spine. This under pad is easy to use, stays in place and is easily washed! I love the way this pad helps to relieve pressure along the spine, an added bonus since I just bought it to keep my expensive pad clean.
The felt material stays in place easily. I am using it with my hunter saddles too! The material had held up well after several washings, I just hang dry or use it damp right out of the washer on hot days.
The felt does a great job of absorbing sweat and keeping my horses comfortable.
Dislikes: I haven't found anything I do not like about this product. It does what it is advertised to do and then some. My fancy expensive pads are all staying cleaner. The tack room is even fresher smelling!
Quality: The pad, cut from a single piece of felt has no seams. The Cashel label is in a good place to help tell students where the top and front of this pad is. The value of this item is what initially attracted me to it. I figured it was worth a shot and if it did not work, I was not wasting too much money.
Summary: Bottom Line...this under pad is worth everything that I paid for it. (How many things can you say that about these days!!) Good design, easily washed, good for my horses and good for my wallet.
