Purchase: I purchased this saddle on ebay for $500 new.
Likes: The leather was of a good quality.
Dislikes: I will explain my dislikes in a list to make it easier to read:
1) The saddle had a very tall cantle, the seat was too deep that would put me in an unnatural position during riding. Although the saddle was an 18", the seat was so deep it felt like a 17". The saddle put me in a poor position to ride in.
2) The saddle and the emotion riding system is a very big SCAM. That saddle did not fit my horse well at all. This saddle did not fit a horse from medium narrow to medium wide.
3) One of the reasons why this saddle did not fit my horse well is because the panels at the back of the saddle narrowed themselves and would dig into the horse's back. This would give my horses an area of high pressure that was highly uncomfortable to them.
Quality: Nice leather, very poor design.
Summary: The bottom line is don't buy this saddle for any reason. Even if it is free you are better off saying "no thank you", as keeping your saddle will give you other costs when you see your horses in back pain.
