Purchase: The Absorbine Santa Fe Detangler was actually given to me in a set of prizes I won at a barrel race so I do not know the actual cost of the item.
Likes: How well and fast it worked!
Dislikes: It is a little greasy but there is really nothing I dislike about it.
Quality: The quality of the bottle the product is in and the ease of it's use make it a great addition to your grooming supplies.
Summary: This has been what I would refer to as a "magic" product. One of our stallions had gotten a horrendous knot in his tail. He is prone to having repeated knots in his tail. I had used all the remedies recommended such as WD 40, an Olive Oil based spray purchased at the Dollar General store, regular cooking oil, human hair conditioners and probably too many more to list. When I received this, I figured that it would be a good thing to try on him. I applied the product one evening using about 1/3 of the bottle and saturated his whole tail with the product. I left it in overnight. I could not believe the ease of combing out that knot. I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and it is very hard for me to attempt to do these everyday grooming chores. This product made it a breeze. All I can say is WOW!!! I am ordering more of it and use it on everything we have. I have even used some in my own hair! I highly recommend this product especially if you have horses with problem manes and tails. Detangle away!!!!
