Purchase: Bought these for $119 from Valley Vet. My husband saw them at an expo and liked the simplicity of the fastenings.
Likes: Well made and seem like they would be durable.
Dislikes: The Simple boots sizing is only by width, and for my horse they were too long, and ended up being really sloppy on his feet. They actually rotated a couple times, even though we had the right size. Unlike Old Macs which I have always had before, these Simple boots are virtually impossible to tighten due to the fastening design. So when I rode in them, you could hear them going "slop, slop, slop" every time he took a step. Most annoying. Old Macs don't do this because the pastern strap holds them on the hoof better.
Quality: Seem nicely made and durable.
Summary: These don't fit horses with rounder feet, although they might fit the ones with the elongated feet just coming out of shoes.
I hated them so much I sold them for $45 just to get rid of them, and bought Old Macs instead.
