Purchase: I bought these at fleet Farm for $25.
Likes: These boots are made pretty well. I have had two pairs and very different experiences with both. The first fell apart, but the second pair you can't even tell they have been used! And they have been used more times than the ones that fell apart. The outer shell is really tough, and they are easy to clean... Just don't put them in the washing machine! They have never had a problem going through mud and water, which is good for jumping xc!
Dislikes: Like I said, my first pair were shredded after maybe 5 uses. Granted, 2 of those uses were long cross country rides, but 5 times? For $25? I was really disappointed in them. And as for my second pair, well, they TURN! A LOT! My horse gets rubs and now has scabs from wearing these. The worst is that once they turn, because of their little "no turn bulb" they don't turn back! They are stuck and just rub the rest of your ride.
Quality: I am torn as to what to put here, because my first pair just fell apart after hardly any use, but my second pair has held up really well with weekly use all summer. I guess over all I would say they have good quality, because of the materials used. They hold up well through water and mud... I have never had one fall off.
Summary: In general I am not happy with these boots. If it's not shredding, it's rubbing. They never just work like they are supposed to. I will probably not buy another pair of these after this.
