Purchase: My friend gave me this bit with a bridle of her's when cleaning out the tack room.
Likes: Its a very nice bit. It is a bit old now, and is still in great shape. My horse has this horrible tongue lolling habit and tends to get his tongue over the bit, or is otherwise active with his mouth, and this bit all but eliminated the issues. My horse is much quieter with this bit and seems to be happier than with his happy mouth or copper roller bit.
Dislikes: Nothing, really. I looked up the price of these bits now and they are PRICEY! I didn't realize it was a Sprenger until I was taking the bridle apart to clean it and noticed the KK stamp on the bit.
Quality: Good construction, this bit has seen a few years and is in VERY good shape still.
Summary: Would definitely make me think about buying one when this one has finished living its life!
